Louanna Colón
Voice Faculty
Louanna Colón is an operatic soprano and educator residing in the Baltimore area. She teaches Voice, Piano, and Violin lessons. She has worked for various music studios throughout Baltimore and the DMV, with experience ranging across ages from Pre-K through senior citizens, both in an individual and group setting.
Louanna has a passion for teaching that continues growing the more students she has the opportunity to work with. She absolutely loves teaching and looks forward to instilling a love for music, sense of artistry, and confidence that her teachers gave her. She believes in a holistic approach to music instruction that includes technique, repertoire studies, theory, and performance craft. She believes in giving her students lessons with which they can grow in their instrument and musicianship, giving them tools and exercises that will help them work toward that goal.
Louanna received her Master’s in Vocal Performance from Peabody Conservatory and received her bachelor’s degree in Classical Vocal Performance from James Madison University.
